Happy 4 months Allie

My girls favor only a little. They have the same nose and face shape but Clara's eyes are a whole lot darker.

Allie is almost 3 1/2 months old and I feel like I am getting a little life back. She still has a sensitive tummy so I have to watch what I eat. A little pig is what she is though-she likes to eat every 2 1/2 to 2 3/4 hours but she sleeps 9 to 10 hours at night. Clara still loves Allie and Allie smiles so big when Clara talks to her. Clara loves to get into anything that is Allie's. They are really going to enjoy each other in a few months.

For the last 3 weeks one or all of us(except Allie-thank the Lord) has been sick. Clara has been at my parents for the last 2 nights so I could get some rest. I had to share the sweet pictures my mom sent me.

Easter Pics

Allie is 2 months

Allie is 2 months today. She weighed 10 pounds 12 ounces at her 2 month well visit. It has been a tough 2 months for her with colic, reflux, a double ear infection, and RSV. But thankfully her lungs are now clear and her ears look good. She is still going to sleep on her own really well for naps, but we have to hold her pacifer in for her to go to sleep at night. Most nights she sleeps from 10 pm to somewhere in the 6 am hour. So I guess I can't complain too much.

Celebrating Sleep

I have been working to get Allie to go to sleep by herself but she usually SCREAMS for an hour when I put her in her bed awake(then I can't take it anymore so I go get her). I read an article about putting something that makes white noise in the baby's room to help them go to sleep. So yesterday morning I put a fan in Allie's room for her nap and she went right to sleep. And the same thing happened for 2 of her other naps and for her 1st nap this morning. I can't believe that is all it took. Hopefully, I am not celebrating too early.

Too cute not to share

Clara loves to help me cook. When she sees me preparing to cook, she says "stool,stool". I thought this picture was too cute not to share.

Alle is doing well. She is gaining weight quickly(she was 8 pounds and 12 oz on Sunday) and sleeping well at night(usually wakes up once to eat) She is a fussy baby though(My babies have colic). Oh, well-she will not be a newborn forever-THANK THE LORD!!!!
