Swimming

Clara went swimming yesterday for the second time. She was not very fond of it the first time but she loved it yesterday. These pictures are probably not the cutest but they are what I was able to get.

Cows

We took Clara to see Chris' dad's cows last night for the first time. I was scared to death but Clara just wanted to get closer. She barked at the cows. To Clara every animal either barks or quacks.

Happy Birthday, Clara!

Today Clara is one year old. We celebrated her birthday last Sunday while my sister and her kids were in town. The party included my family and Chris' family. At first, Clara was not real sure what to do with her cupcake. She put her hand in the icing(which was just cool whip) then reached up to me as if to say "my hand is dirty". I put her fingers in her mouth then she was hooked. She ate the whole thing.

Just living life

I have been trying to think of something educational, funny, or interesting to write about but to no avail. So I will just post a new picture of Clara. She is exploring(that is what Chris calls it but I call it making messes) with her new found walking freedom.
We are going to Ruston to eat at Monjuni's tonight. Once a month our church provides childcare for parents to have a date night. For $5 you can't beat it.

My Happy Baby

You can see Clara's 2 bottom teeth. She now has 4 teeth coming in on the top. Ouch!!!

Clara Walking

I was finally able to get some videos of Clara walking by herself yesterday. She did it over and over but today she acts scared and wants to hold your one finger. I couldn't decide which one to post so I am posting 2 videos. You can either suffer through both or just choose one to watch.
