I have been childless

Clara has been with my parents since Thursday morning. It has been so nice to jump out of the car and run in a store. Even though time alone is nice, I sure do enjoy having her with us. Thursday night we went to a couple's dinner and Bible Study. Then Friday night we went to go see Game Plan which I like(and cried) but it was definitely made for a younger crowd. We are getting our little pumpkin back this morning. Here is a picture of Clara while staying with GiGi and Pop-Pop. And some pictures of my nephew and nieces from my mom's last visit.

My little lion

I was not planning to do anything for Halloween because we don't live in a trick or treating neighborhood. But for the first time our church did a Trick or Trunk. Clara did not understand the concept at first. She would go to a trunk and get candy then sit down right there on the ground and try to eat it. Finally, she realized if she went to the next car she would get more candy. Clara has not really ever had candy so she ate a little of it but of course we will eat most of it(suffering for your children). I was too cheap to buy a costume so this is my nephew's old costume which I had to make look a little girly.

An update on us

I did not realize it had been a month since I posted. We have been busy. We are trying to get Clara's new room and bathroom ready for her to move in towards the end of the year so she will not feel kicked out to the nursery. Then my sister and her family were in town for a few days(I failed to get any pictures). Then I got a stomach bug but all is well now. Last Friday Clara and I went to a friend's house for a hayride so I will share a few pictures from that day.

Play Group

Today we went to my friend Lea Ann's house for a little play time. Got to love trying to get everyone to look at the camera and smile. The two kids on the left are Christy Ferguson Valentine's kids for anyone who may remember her from Tech. Great fun was had by all.

What happens in Vegas...

doesn't have to stay in Vegas. Imagine this- we did not do anything we are ashamed of while vacationing in Las Vegas. We did not even pull one slot machine or buy any souvenirs except for some fudge for my sweet parents who kept Clara. But we did have good time away and enjoyed seeing some shows which is the main reason we chose Las Vegas. Stomp Out Loud was great and Cirque Du Soleil KA was entertaining but kind of weird. No pictures were taken in Vegas but my parents did take some of Clara which I will share.

Clara is 15 months

I have been told that my blog is boring by one person but other person has requested a new picture of Clara. So new pictures you get. Writing is not one my strong points. Sorry!
